Academic CentreDuring the guided tour at the Botanical Garden, visitors will learn about the wide plant diversity in Latvia and other parts of the world. In 1 hour our guides will guide visitors through the most interesting exhibitions: tropical, subtropical, desert, medicinal, aquatic, and archaic plants to name but a few. We will also share the joy of the seasonal flowering plants. These include azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, lilies, roses, dahlias, and more.
The guided tour can be adjusted to meet the needs of the group. The content is flexible so that adults, students, and children can have an unforgettable experience and excursion through our Garden. Guided tour price consists of guide service price and entrance tickets price for each person in the group. To apply for a guided tour please call (+371) 26622537 (Ilze Donova, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00). All arrangements must be made at least 5 working days prior the chosen date of the guided tour.

Length: 1,5 hours
Route: Tropical, subtropical and succulent glasshouses, Tropical Butterfly House, Garden expositions depending on season and blooming time. The route can be changed to include specific plants if the group has particular interest in, e.g., water plants, trees, alpine plants.
Length: 1.5 hours
Route: visit to Tropical Butterfly House, followed by visit to the Garden to view collections of plants that attract butterflies and other pollinators.
