Dahlia collection in full bloom

In the height of summer, one of Latvia’s richest dahlia collections is in full bloom at the University of Latvia Botanical Garden. More than 200 different cultivars are on display, ranging from delicate pompon dahlias to spectacular decorative varieties with dinner-plate-sized flowers. During the second half of summer, the dahlia display becomes one of the Botanical Garden’s most vibrant highlights, delighting visitors with its remarkable diversity of colours, shapes, and forms.
