Exhibition of Cacti and other Succulents

The Latvia Cactus and Succulent Society is organising an exhibition of cacti and other succulents from April 25-May 4. The exhibition will take place at the Greenhouse of the Botanical Garden and will be open to the public every day from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Also the succulent collection of the Garden is in bloom - it contains more than 900 taxons, including almost 400 species of cacti. Genus Mammillaria is represented most widely with 84 taxons. Mammillaria is named the Cactus of the Year 2015 after the Latvia Cactus and Succulent Society, therefore this genus will be represented abundantly in the exhibition.
